Foundy Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Applies to Foundy for iOS (bundle Foundy.igrow) and Android (package Foundy.igrow).

What Foundy does

Foundy scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices and helps you walk to the one you are looking for. Scanning, signal processing, the Finder, saved devices and last-seen spots all run on your phone.

Data that stays on your phone

Data sent to Foundy's servers (Foundy Pro AI features)

When you tap Identify or Get tips, Foundy sends the technical signal details of the device you chose (advertised name, company identifier, first manufacturer-data bytes, service identifiers, appearance value, category guess) or an anonymised search summary (category, elapsed time, closeness percentages, signal trend and a short signal-strength history). It never sends your location, your list of nearby devices, or any account identity.

These requests are protected with an anonymous Firebase Authentication identity, Firebase App Check attestation and a per-installation cryptographic key. The server verifies your subscription with Apple or Google before spending on an AI call, and keeps a daily allowance per installation.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Foundy receives a signed transaction (Apple) or purchase token (Google) to verify access; we do not receive your payment details.

Diagnostics and analytics

Foundy uses Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports with device model, OS version and app version) and Firebase Analytics (anonymous usage events such as onboarding steps, paywall views, purchases, searches started and completed). No Bluetooth device names, locations or AI content are included in analytics.
